Accessibility Statement
We want Bourse to be usable by as many people as possible, including people who use screen readers, keyboards or larger text.
Our target
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.
What we have done
- Text and background colours meet WCAG AA contrast in both the dark and the light theme.
- Images have text alternatives; decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers.
- The website can be used with a keyboard, and the element in focus is outlined.
- Animations are minimal and switch off when your system asks for reduced motion.
Known limitations
- Some charts are visual only. Where we can, the key numbers are also shown as text next to the chart.
- Pages of other companies we link to, such as Stripe's checkout or publishers' websites, are outside our control.
